eChat E720 POC IP BROADBAND TRANSCEIVER WITH 1 YEAR SUBCRIPTION

The eChat E720 brings a new impetus to the world of POC transceivers. It perfectly combines the features of a transceiver and of a smartphone, taking workflow organisation to an even higher level.

This transceiver looks like a smartphone with a small antenna on top. The large display makes it easy to operate the Android 11 operating system, which has been specially customised  for this transceiver and now allows you to run almost any application that doesn't interfere with the transceiver's main functionality, which is always an advantage. The large touchscreen makes it easy to keep track of your colleagues' locations for efficient workflow management, and you can even record audio of the conversations.

IP68 protection gives the device maximum resistance to shock, dust and water.

New features:

Multimedia messaging between E720, E700 transceivers, and the dispatch program.

The touch screen can be used even with gloves on.

Compared to the E700 transceiver, the E720 has two extra programmable buttons.

The E720 model now has a USC Type-C input and a charging cable. Charging is also possible with the optional desktop docking cradle.

The E720 has improved a lot compared to its predecessor. Its battery capacity has increased from 4000 mAh to 4200 mAh. Its processor is now an 8-core, 2 GHz A53. It also has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, expandable up to 128 GB with a microSD card. It now supports 5 GHz wifi in addition to 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth 4.2 delivers even faster data speeds. Its front-facing camera can now take pictures with a resolution of 13 megapixels.

The E720 also supports NFC (Near Field Communication). NFC is a set of short-range communication standards for radio communication between smartphones and similar devices by touching or placing them very close to each other (e.g. contactless credit card payments).

New server-side voice recording feature available for eChat customers!

It can be activated free of charge on all eChat transceiver fleets and dispatch systems. It allows you to record all voice communications on your eChat system, which is saved on the server even while your dispatcher console is offline. For more information, please contact the eChat customer service, who will also activate the feature for you.

With two-way radio systems, by default we only have audio communication, i.e. we communicate by talking. Hődévé, in many cases it can be useful if the dispatcher or a senior radio operator can also communicate visually with the user. This is possible with the eChat video call licence.
