he new Yaesu FTM-200 is a C4FM Digital multi-functional transceiver with a single receiver. The Yaesu FTM-200 delivers reliable and stable 50W transmit performance. The speaker delivers 3W of clear and crisp receive audio which has been specifically tuned for radio communication. 2-inch Full-color display provides high visibility and highlights the frequency of the operating band with selectable color – White, Blue or Red. Front panel of the Yaesu FTM-200 is detachable and can be mounted at the most desirable operating position. The new FTM-200 supports optional Bluetooth® wireless operation using the SSM-BT10 Headset.
The Yaesu FTM-200DE mobile transceiver offers dual-band operation with one receiver. The display shows two frequencies, the first frequency is the receive frequency and the second is the dual monitoring frequency. More than 1100 storage locations help you organize the most popular frequencies so they are always quickly at hand. The receiver operates continuously between 108 and 1000 MHz, allowing for airband (AM) or maritime (FM) receptio
The transmitter uses robust power amplifier modules that provide a maximum transmitter power of 50 W in each band. Of course, the transmitter power can be reduced. Thanks to the design with directional air cooling, operation between -20 °C and +60 °C is possible.
In order to use the standard navigation functions and positioning data in the C4FM, the Yaesu FTM-200DE has a built-in GPS receiver with 66 channels. An external GPS receiver can be connected as an option. This allows you to use the usual functions such as remote station direction and distance display, tracking, and many more.
Other features known from C4FM technology, such as Digi Group ID and Digital Group Monitor, are also supported by the Yaesu FTM-200DE. Of course, the FTM-200DE can also be part of the Wires-X system. Connectors for the optional HRI-200 interface are available.
All settings and stored frequencies can be saved to an optional microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 32 GB. Voice Recording also uses the memory card. Power supply is 13.8 V / 11 A from an AC adapter, but can also be used on expedition from a battery.
Yaesu FTM-200DE transceiver main features:

What is the difference between Yaesu FTM-200 and FTM-300 mobile radios?
Both FTM-200D and FTM-300D are Dual Band, however, the FTM-200D comes with a single receiver, meanwhile, the FTM-300D has two receivers which allow for real-time RX operations on any band. Therefore, the FTM-200D can receive only one frequency at the time.
The frequency coverage is the same RX/TX between the two models but the sensitivity changes in certain frequency ranges. Furthermore, the FTM-300D comes with built-in Bluetooth Module, meanwhile the FTM-200D has it as an option (BU-4).
Design-wise, the FTM-200D has slimmer front panel which allows for easier installation on vehicles.
