Description

Hytera AN0435W15 UHF 400-470MHz spiral brass core 15 cm long antenna for Hytera AP515, AP585, BP515, BP565 transceivers.

Using a long antenna for transceivers offers a number of advantages:

  1. Increased signal strength: a longer antenna provides a larger surface area to receive and radiate radio waves, which improves signal reception and transmission.
  2. Increased range: longer antennas generally have a longer range because they are able to transmit and receive radio waves more efficiently, especially at lower frequencies.
  3. Frequency optimisation: the length of an antenna is often adapted to the wavelength of a given frequency. Longer antennas perform better at lower frequencies where the wavelength is longer.
  4. Higher gain: Longer antennas can achieve higher gain, which means that the antenna transmits and detects signals more concentrated in a given direction, increasing the transceiver's performance.
  5. Better reception and transmission quality: Longer antennas generally provide clearer, less noisy signals because they handle radio waves more efficient.
